This group was developed with the essential belief that honest, constructive criticism can help us improve our writing. The group is designed for people who have an active interest in literature and are willing to discuss their work, and the works of others honestly and openly. The goal is to create an environment where discourse will (ideally) lead spur us to think of our work in new ways, reassess it, and improve it. It is modeled, loosely, on the great 'circles' of the last century, where writers engaged one another, willing to sacrifice, in some way, their egos to literature, which is the record of ourselves once the house of the ego has turned to dust.
